The Other Girl by C D Major

“The Other Girl” may not be for everyone but it is the book for me. I really enjoyed this tale, the spare writing, put me off at first but was perfect for the story. The slow build I enjoyed, told like a ghost story, reminiscent of Jonathan Aycliffe, full of flashbacks and obfuscations. The ending obvious but I really enjoyed all the reading to get there.

As I said, not for everyone, but I loved it.
